Abstract :
This research aims to know the Influence of Training and Promotion Position On
Employee Performance at PT.Bank SUMUT Branch Office Medan.This research
includes explanatory research. The data used in this study are primary and
secondary data. Population in this research is 72 employee at PT. Bank SUMUT
Branch Office Medan.Hypothesis testing done by using multiple linear regression
analysis, the independent variable is Training and Promotion Position and the
dependent variable is employee performance. The result showed that
implementation based on on simultaneous test ofTraining and Promotion Position
have positive and significant influence on employee performance at PT.Bank
SUMUT Branch Office Medan.On Partial test showed variable Training influence
positive and significant and variable Promotion Position showed influence
positive and significanton employee performanceat PT.Bank SUMUT Branch
Office Medan.Coefficient test of a determinant ( ) are mean 49,8 %, of the
dependent variable is employee performance at PT. Bank SUMUT Branch Office
Medan can be 50,2% remainder explained by other factors.
