Abstract :
Pegadaian Shariah is an institution that can provide loans to the community
to facilitate daily needs with sharia-based. There are many pawn institusion to
giving their fund so that it becomes competitor for company both conventional and
shariah, This research aims to determine the decision customers factors on
location, promotion, products, and services in choosing rahn products. This
research was conducted in the branch of Pegadaian Shariah AR Hakim Medan
City.
The type of data used in this research is using primary data. Data were
collected through questionnaires were filled by interviewers reading the questions
and then record the answers The Samples in this research are 100 respondents by
using purposive sampling technique.
This research is built on alternative criteria determined by the decision
maker. The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative research
with Borda method. The Borda method is used to generate the weight and rank of
alternative criteria on each factor based on customer decisions. The results of this
research indicate that the location distance, the recommendation of relatives, the
ease of procedure, and the professionalism of employee as an alternative criterion
decision is the most influence costumer to making a decision to using Rahn. The
research data also proves that the borda method can be used to unify the decision
result that taken by decision maker.
