Abstract :
This study aims to study the dosage of fertilizer according to the needs of rice crops and the effect of soil to fertilizer to increase rice production in Tanjung Mulia Village, Lubuk Pakam Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency started in April until August 2017. This study used a complete randomized design two factor with 3 replications. The first factor of dosage of fertilizer (Urea, SP-36, KCl, and Dolomite) with 4 level that is P1 = 122,98 gram / plot, P2 = 163,97 gram / plot, P3 = 204,96 gram / plot, P4 = 245.96 gram / plot and second factor based on soil nutrient index with 5 levels ie B1 = 80% (less than standard dose 20%), B2 = 90% (less than standard dose 10%), B3 = 100% (standard dose ), B4 = 110% (more than the standard dose of 10%), B5 = 120% (more than the standard dose of 20%). The results showed that the best application of fertilizer dosage and soil nutrient index on P2 = 161,82 gram / plot and soil nutrient index treatment was at B2 = 90% (less than standard dose 10%)
