Abstract :
North Tapanuli Regency is one of the centers of pineapple production in North Sumatra province, especially in Sipahutar District. Pineapple production is increasing every year, as a result of increasing population. This study aims to determine the effect of land area (X1), capital (X2) and labor (X3) on pineapple production in Sipahutar District North Tapanuli Regency. The data collection method used is the interview method with a sample of 60 respondents. Secondary data in North Tapanuli District for 5 years was used to analyze research objectives. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression. with the results of the study showing that the land area and capital variables have a positive and significant effect on pineapple production in Sipahutar District while the workforce does not significantly affect pineapple production in Sipahutar District.
