Abstract :
This research ams to analyze the effect of foreign investment, budget deficit, domestic savings and exports on foreign debt and economic growth(GDP) in Indonesia, both directly and indirectly through foreign debt.This research uses secondary data which is time series data in the period of 16 years start from 2001 to 2016.The results of this research use multiple linear regression analysis model with path analysis method using computer program SPSS and Eviews. The Result of this research shows that foreign investment, budget deficits, domestic savings, exports have a significant effect on foreign debt. Foreign investment, budget deficits, domestic savings have a positive effect, and exports have a negative effect. With directly Foreign investment, budget deficit, domestic saving and exports have an effect on GDP. Foreign investment, budget deficits, and exports have not significant effect, but domestic saving have a significant effect on GDP.Indirectly through foreign debt, foreign investment has a negative effect, the budget deficit has a negative effect, domestic savings have a negative effect, and exports have a positive effect on GDP.
