Abstract :
Febrile convulsion are seizures that occur at body temperature, so that an increase in body temperature occurs at the age of 3 months to 5 years. The incidence of febrile convulsions in children in Asian countries is 6-9%. The purpose of this study was to obtain nursing care for child clients who experienced hyperthermia with febrile convulsions at Pasar Rebo Hospital. This study used a descriptive qualitative research design without intervention with a literature study approach because it was during the Covid-19 pandemic, data was taken from research cases in 2019. The priority for diagnosing nursing problems is hyperthermia, the results of the assessment obtained the client's body temperature 38.4 ?C, fever is already since 2 days before being admitted to the hospital, vomited as much as 1x, previously had seizures, the intervention carried out to treat hyperthermia in clients is by using warm compresses. The author did not evaluate because the author did not carry out the implementation, but the evaluation obtained based on the research of Ambar and Parwati in 2013, the results of the analysis test, there was a change in body temperature of 38.9C to 37.9C with a value of P = 0.0001 <0.05. the effect of warm compresses on changes in body temperature in pediatric patients who are hyperthermic.
