Abstract :
Typhoid fever is a systemic infectious disease caused by salmonella typi which is still widely found in various developing countries, especially in the tropics and subtropics. Typhoid fever is an acute infection of the small intestine caused by salmonella typhi bacteria or salmonella paratyphy A, B, and C. Transmission of typhoid fever through the faecal and oral route to the human body through contaminated food and drinks. Descriptive qualitative research design without direct intervention to clients with a literature study approach that uses data from literature sources, because during the Covid-19 pandemic, the data were taken from research cases in 2019. The results of the researcher's study obtained fever data 5 days ago, the agency hot, temperature 39.40C, warm skin reddish skin color. The medical diagnosis of typoid fever from the results of the Widal test showed that the client was infected with the salmonella tiphy bacteria. Based on the assessment of the cases, the hyperthermia nursing problem was found. In the implementation stage, it is described based on the results of the literature, namely giving warm compresses to reduce the client's body temperature, while the implementation in previous studies was by giving warm compresses, rationally warm compresses give vasodilating effects of blood vessels, thereby accelerating evaporation of the body. In the evaluation stage it is not carried out directly because the author does not carry out direct implementation to the patient, thus the evaluation that can be achieved is based on the outcome criteria and based on the results of previous journals, namely by giving warm compresses to clients which are obtained based on this research. client's body temperature with a P-value = 0.000 <0.05. It is better if more nursing services are given maximally by implementing and developing independent nurse actions based on practical evidence based.
