Abstract :
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder that occurs chronically or chronically because the body does not have enough insulin hormone due to interference with insulin secretion, the insulin hormone that does not work properly or both. The impacts that can occur include the risk of heart disease, stroke, and kidney failure. The purpose of this paper is to get an overview of nursing care in Ny. S With Type II Diabetes Mellitus. The design of this research is descriptive qualitative without direct intervention to the patient. This study uses data from case research years (2019) and uses a case study approach. From the results of the assessment, it was found that the client said his main complaints were pain, dizziness, nausea. The trigger factor is no appetite, sudden onset, 3-5 minutes long. How to fix it by lying down. Nursing diagnoses are nutritional deficiency associated with impaired food balance, risk of deficient fluid volume associated with insufficient intake and risk of pain associated with impaired sense of safety and comfort. In this scientific paper, it describes interventions that can be edited about foods that lower blood sugar to clients who experience nutritional deficiencies to pay attention to health patterns. The author provides advice to nurses to further increase independent action, namely clients who experience nutritional deficiencies by way of education about food fibrous which can lower blood sugar, especially in people with type II diabetes mellitus.
