Abstract :
Dyspepsia is a term commonly used for a syndrome or a collection of symptoms consisting of pain or discomfort in the gut, nausea, vomiting, bloating, fullness of the stomach, feeling full. The effects that can occur include bleeding, stomach cancer, vomiting of blood and the occurrence of peptic ulcers. The purpose of this study was to get an overview of nursing care in Ms. N with dyspepsia. The design of this study is a descriptive qualitative study without direct intervention to the patient. This study uses data from research cases in 2019 and uses a literature study approach. From the results of the assessment, it was found that the patient complained of heartburn like being stabbed with sharp objects. The patient complained of pain in the gut 5 minutes, pain scale 6 (moderate pain). Nursing diagnoses are acute pain associated with irritation of the gastric mucosa, nutritional imbalance less than body requirements associated with nausea and vomiting, and lack of knowledge associated with less exposure to information. In this scientific paper, describes interventions that can be applied to patients experiencing pain, namely teaching relaxation techniques and providing analgesic drugs to reduce pain. The evaluation that can be concluded from the author based on the results of the study concluded that relaxation techniques can reduce pain both with fracture and dyspepsia clients. Based on the description above, it is advisable for nurses to further increase independent action, namely for clients who experience pain by doing relaxation techniques with any disease, especially with dyspepsia.
