Abstract :
Hypertension in pregnancy (HDK) is a condition that is found as a medical complication in pregnant women and as a cause of morbidity and mortality in the mother and fetus. In general, HDK is defined as an increase in systolic blood pressure of 140 mmHg and above and a diastolic pressure of > 90 mmHg. In this study, the author uses a descriptive qualitative design with a case study and intervention approach, this activity is a description of the application of nursing care stages starting from the assessment stage to the evaluation stage. The aim is to obtain an overview of nursing care for both clients who experience post partum pain in Sectio Caesarea for indications of hypertension. In this study, the researcher used two female clients who had the same characteristics, such as having the main problem of acute pain and a medical diagnosis of hypertension. After conducting a nursing assessment on Ny.C and Ny.V, it was found that the nursing problem for both clients was pain after caesarean section postpartum. On the priority diagnosis of pain, the author takes independent action, namely providing relaxation techniques using classical music therapy for 3 × 24 hours. After doing this action for 3 days, it was found that classical music therapy was proven to be effective in reducing pain levels in female clients who experienced pain due to caesarean section delivery. Based on these results, the authors suggest that relaxation techniques using classical music can be an alternative for postpartum caesarean section mothers who experience pain and this action can be done independently by the client if pain occurs.
