Abstract :
Acute appendicitis is defined as acute inflammation of the right lower quadrant of the abdominal cavity. This disease is commonly known among the public as appendicitis. There were complaints of pain in the abdomen and fever. Since 1 day before admission to the hospital, Ny. I and to Mrs. U Found Complaints of Abdominal Pain and Fever since 2 Days Before being admitted to the hospital and Difficult to walk. Found 3 Nursing Diagnosis on Mrs. I and to Mrs. U found 3 nursing diagnoses. In the priority problem, namely Nursing Diagnosis of Acute Appendicitis on both clients, the author takes independent actions to teach Relaxation Techniques with a frequency of 3 x Each pain in the patient reappears. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of nursing care for 2 clients and 2 families who have the same characteristics as female gender, young adult age, have the main problem of postoperative appendectomy and medical diagnosis of acute pain. The method used is a descriptive qualitative design with a case study and intervention approach. Actions taken on clients with acute pain problems are by teaching relaxation techniques, where this technique has been carried out by researchers turned out to be effective in helping to overcome pain problems in the Post Op section. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the authors give suggestions to nurses to further improve independent action to help overcome pain in the Post Op appendectomy section.
