Abstract :
This research aims to determine the technical guidance education and training Dirjen Migas at PT. Indospec Asia based on Kirkpatrick’s Model. This research is qualitative descriptive that uses a case study and explanation of implementation technical guidance education and training. The subject in this research is the leaders of Technical Operation, HR & Administration, QHSE (1 person each) and 2 inspectors who have participated in this training. The data is obtained based on results of conducted interview and observation. Indicators measure the effectiveness of the education and training towards participants reactions to the content, the implementation of the training process including learning in the classroom which results in the change of behavior in the workplace after the training. Based on result of the research, it is concluded that the evaluation of the technical guidance education and training by Dirjen Migas was effective because informant stated that the implementation of the training is in line with the expected purpose. Based on Kirkpatrick’s Model, at the participants level of reaction the concern was unpredictable execution time. At the learning level, participants complained about the presentation and learning material provided by the instructor were only explained theoretically and participants were not given any practical method. By the end , it is expected that this research can be an input for the company in determining policy related to evaluation of education and training.
