Abstract :
The aim of this research is to identify variables that affect amount of profitability
level (ROA) of Bank Muamalat Indonesia during 2003 to 2009. The variables are (DPK)
Third Party Funds, (NPF) Non Performing Financing, (CAR) Capital adequacy ratio,
(BOPO) and (FDR) Financing to Deposit Ratio.
Research object are Bank Muamalat Indonesia, and Research method which used
is multiple linear regressions. Regression result shows that three independent variables
used may affect dependent variable as much as 72.12% , and the rest which is 28.78%
explained by other variables that not being used in this research model. Result of
simultaneous test shows that four independent variables together can explain amount of
profitability level (ROA).
Conclusion of this research is BOPO and Non Performing Financing have
significant effect to profitability level (ROA), while Capital adequacy ratio, Third Party
Funds and Financing to Deposit Ratio have no significant effect to profitability level
(ROA).
