Abstract :
Keywords : Learning Media, Documentary, Writing Skills, Drama Scrip ABSTRACT- This study aims to determine the improvement in the quality of the learning process of writing drama scripts for students by using the educational themed documentary film entitled "Negeri Dongeng and Cerita Dari Tapal Batas". This research was conducted using the Kemmis & Mc Taggart Model Classroom Action Research Design Scheme. The data collection techniques used by the author to complete this research were through questionnaires, interviews and observations. After carrying out this research, the improvement achieved by the results was very significant, it was seen that the initial score the average score before the action was taken was 63.72, and in the first cycle the students obtained an average of 72.72, while at the end of the second cycle the average score The average achieved by students is 78.78. Based on the score above, it can be concluded that starting from the beginning of the action the students obtained a score of 63.72, while the final score of the second cycle of action was 78.78, meaning there was an increase of 14.87 from a score of 63.72 to 78.78. With an increase of 14.87 percent, it is proven that documentary film media can improve the ability to write drama scripts in class XI IPS 1 SMA Plus Al-Amanah Dander, Bojonegoro.
