Keywords: Error Analysis, Grammatical Errors, Narrative Text The purpose of this study was to investigate the types of student errors found in writing narrative texts and to analyze the errors most commonly found by students in the use of grammar in writing narrative texts in class X students of SMK PGRI 2 Bojonegoro. Qualitative descriptive research design. the instrument in the form of students writing narrative research texts used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were class X students of SMK PGRI 2 Bojonegoro. The results of this study indicate that there are four types of errors that occur; namely omission errors, addition errors, formation errors, and stacking errors. From the data analysis, the researcher found that the most dominant errors were misformation errors with a total of 18 errors. Misformation errors are related to using the wrong morpheme or structure. This happened because of the lack of knowledge of students in grammar writing skills.
