Abstract :
The use of social media and instant messaging such as Facebook and Instagram and instant messaging, such as whatsApp, for e-commerce are growing in average by 65%, and marketplace growth by 10% from 2018 to 2020. In contrast, the growth company website as a sales media declined from 10% in 2018 to 5% in 2019. The main factors that influenced the website low usage are ease of use, and secure payment. Little has been known about the moderating effect of the perceived security of mobile payment in the relationship between intention to use and actual website usage. The objective of the study is to investigate the most important features, analyze the moderating effect of perceived security mobile payment in the technology acceptance model (TAM). The population observed is the online shopper in Greater Jakarta Area, using purposive sampling. The sample size was 114 collected during the period of May to June 2021. The data was analyzed using SPSS v25 and Smart PLS3. The result showed that perceived security mobile payment moderate the relationship between intention to use the website and actual usage of website. The finding contributes to TAM model literature with the moderator variables or perceived security of mobile payment. The practical implication of the study is on the manager to consider mobile payment as an option of method payment, and to manage the features in the website that can increase perceived ease of use of the online shopper, such as product related features and delivery tracking status.
