Abstract :
The author (Dimas Raditya Razzaq) is BBA students who intends to finish the final project in IPMI International Business School called Thesis. This study aims at investigating the motivational practices of management and differences of motivational factors, based on the applicability of Frederick Herzberg theory such as Hygiene factor and Motivator factor. Empirical data was collected through from interviews and quantitative data in IPMI International Business School. From that explanation, the author wants to find the factors from Frederick Herzberg theory that influence the job satisfaction of employee at IPMI. The author spread the questionnaire using calculation from Slovin with standard of error 46 employee from the total of employee 52 people. Basically the questionnaire has 32 questions plus five question regarding respondent profiles. The results of this research can be used as a suggestion for the company or organization managements to improve the job satisfaction of IPMI employees. The management can focus their attention on improving employee job satisfaction by referring to the Hygiene factor and motivation factor dominant. These factor include: 1. Salary; 2. Interpersonal Relation; 3. Working Condition; 4. Supervision; 5. Administration and Policy; 6. Achievement; 7. Recognition; 8. Advancement; 9. Work itself; 10. Responsibility. So the management can focus on those who are the factor dominant in order to become more efficient and effective in making policies, systems and be able to focus on the improving these job satisfaction factors.
