Abstract :
Diabetes Militus (DM) merupakan penyakit gangguan metabolik menahun
akibat pankreas tidak memproduksi cukup insulin atau tubuh tidak dapat
menggunakan insulin yang di produksi secara efektif. Kepatuhan minum obat
pada pasien DM merupakan hal penting dalam mencapai sasaran
pengobatan dan efektif dalam mencegah beberapa komplikasi pada penyakit
DM. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat kepatuhan minum obat
pasien DM Tipe 2 selama pandemi COVID-19 di Rumah Sakit Panti Nirmala
Malang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Observasional
Deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data dengan pengambilan sampel dengan
jumlah 52 responden. Instrumen pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner
Morisky Medication Adherence Scale 8 items (MMAS-8) dan Medication
Possession Ratio (MPR). Berdasarkan penelitian tentang kepatuhan minum
obat DM Tipe 2 yang dilakukan di instalasi farmasi rawat jalan Rumah Sakit
Panti Nirmala Malang selama bulan Maret 2022 diperoleh bahwa hasil
dengan kuesioner MMAS-8 menunjukkan sebanyak 33 responden (63%)
termasuk pada kategori kepatuhan tinggi, sebanyak 17 responden (33%)
termasuk pada kategori kepatuhan sedang dan sebanyak 2 responden (4%)
termasuk pada kategori kepatuhan rendah dan berdasarkan penelitian
tentang kepatuhan minum obat DM Tipe 2 diperoleh bahwa hasil dengan
menggunakan Medication Possesion Ratio (MPR) menunjukkan sebanyak
51 responden (98%) termasuk pada kategori patuh dan sebanyak 1
responden (2%) termasuk pada kategori tidak patuh. Dari penelitian ini
terdapat sinkronisasi atau keselarasan antara kepatuhan minum obat Anti
Diabetes Oral dan kepatuhan pengambilan obat Anti Diabetes Oral. Hal ini
dikarenakan responden memiliki kesadaran diri sendiri untuk mengontrol
sakitnya agar tidak semakin parah serta untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup
ABSTRACT
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by the
pancreas not producing enough insulin or the body cannot use the insulin it
produces effectively. Adherence to taking medication in DM patients is
important in achieving treatment goals and is effective in preventing several
complications in DM. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of
adherence to taking medication for Type 2 DM patients during the COVID-19
pandemic at Panti Nirmala Hospital, Malang. The type of research used is
descriptive observational research. The method of data collection is by taking
a sample of 52 respondents. The data collection instrument was the Morisky
Medication Adherence Scale 8 items (MMAS-8) questionnaire and the
Medication Possession Ratio (MPR). Based on research on Type 2 DM
medication adherence which was carried out at the outpatient pharmacy
installation at Panti Nirmala Hospital, Malang during March 2022, it was found
that the results with the MMAS-8 questionnaire showed 33 respondents
(63%) included in the high compliance category, as many as 17 respondents.
(33%) included in the category of moderate adherence and as many as 2
respondents (4%) included in the category of low adherence and based on
research on adherence to taking medication for Type 2 DM, it was found that
the results using the Medication Possesion Ratio (MPR) showed as many as
51 respondents (98%) ) is included in the obedient category and as many as
1 respondent (2%) is included in the non-compliant category. From this study,
there is a synchronization or alignment between adherence to taking Anti
Diabetes Oral drugs and adherence to taking Anti Diabetes Oral drugs. This
is because respondents have self-awareness to control the pain so it doesn't
get worse and to improve the quality of life.
