Abstract :
UKP merupakan kegiatan yang wajib dilaksanakan oleh prajurit
TNI untuk menunjang karier prajurit dalam penempatan jabatan atau
keperluan pendidikan atau penugasan-penugasan lainnya. Kesiapan
merupakan salah satu faktor utama pendukung keberhasilan usulan
kenaikan pangkat prajurit. Namun kesiapan prajurit dalam menghadapi
UKP pada umumnya kurang baik karena dipengaruhi oleh faktor fisik,
mental dan pengetahuan prajurit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui bagaimana kesiapan prajurit dalam mengikuti tes kesegaran
jasmani pada usulan kenaikan pangkat (UKP) di Yonif Mekanis 512/QY
Malang.
Desain penelitan adalah deskritif. Populasi seluruh prajurit yang
sedang mengikuti tes kesegaran jasmani pada usulan kenaikan pangkat
sejumlah 45 prajurit. Sampel sebanyak 30 prajurit. Teknik sampling
menggunakan Purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan
lembar kuesioner. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 9-10 Februari
2022 di Lapangan Batalyon Yonif Mekanis 512/QY Malang. Analisa data
menggunkaan univariat.
Hasil penelitian didapatkan sebagian besar responden memiliki
kesiapan cukup sebanyak 16 orang (53%), hampir setengah responden
kesiapan baik sebanyak 8 orang (27%) dan sebagian kecil responden
memiliki kesiapan buruk sebanyak 6 orang (20%). Hal ini dikarenakan
kurangnya latihan fisik dan kesiapan mental saat menghadapai usulan
kenaikan pangkat.
Diharapkan prajurit lebih meningkatkan latihan kesegaran jasmani
untuk mencapai tingkat kesegaran fisik (physical fitness) dalam kategori
baik sehingga siap dan siaga dalam melaksanakan tes kesegaran jasmani
pada usulan kenaiakan pangkat (UKP) dengan hasil yang sangat bagus.
ABSTRACT
UKP is an activity that must be carried out by TNI soldiers to
support soldiers' careers in placement or educational needs or other
assignments. Readiness is one of the main factors supporting the success
of the proposed promotion of soldiers. However, the readiness of soldiers
in facing UKP is generally not good because it is influenced by physical,
mental and knowledge factors of soldiers. This study aims to determine
how the readiness of soldiers in taking the physical fitness test on the
proposed promotion (UKP) at the 512/QY Mechanical Infantry Battalion
Malang.
The research design is descriptive. The population of all soldiers
who are taking the physical fitness test on the proposed promotion is 45
soldiers. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Collecting
data using a questionnaire sheet. The research was conducted on 9-10
February 2022 at the 512/QY Mechanical Battalion Battalion Field,
Malang. Data analysis using univariate.
The results showed that most of the respondents had sufficient
readiness as many as 16 people (53%), almost half of the respondents
were well prepared as many as 8 people (27%) and a small proportion of
respondents had poor readiness as many as 6 people (20%). This is due
to a lack of physical training and mental readiness when facing a proposed
promotion.
It is expected that soldiers will further improve physical fitness
training to achieve physical fitness levels in the good category so that they
are ready and alert in carrying out physical fitness tests on proposed
promotions (UKP) with very good results.
