Abstract :
Pasien gagal ginjal kronik menjalani hemodialisa demi
apabila mengalami kecemasan sebelum melakukan terapi hemodialisa.
ABSTRACT
Patients with chronic kidney failure undergo hemodialysis for their survival
which is carried out routinely 2 times a week. Feelings of anxiety felt by
patients while undergoing hemodialysis will worsen the patient's condition
and can pose a more serious risk and potentially death. This study aims to
describe the level of anxiety of patients who will undergo hemodialysis
therapy. The research was conducted on May 20, 2022. The research
design used descriptive. The population is 32 people. The sampling
technique used total sampling. The sample was 32 people. The research
variable was the anxiety of patients who will undergo hemodialysis.
Collecting data using a questionnaire. The research site was in the
hemodialysis room of dr. Darsono Pacitan General Hospital. Data analysis
used univariate. The results showed that 31 patients (96.9%) felt anxiety
before HD therapy. In the patient anxiety score data before HD therapy, of
28.06 (severe level of anxiety). In the data on the level of anxiety, the most
results obtained were moderate anxiety as many as 13 people or 40.6%.
However, there was 1 respondent (3.1%) who did not experience anxiety
and there were 3 people who experienced very severe anxiety (9.4%).
Because the anxiety of HD patient was widely expressed in
Cardiovascular Stmptoms, it was hope that nurses can routinely evaluate
the patient?s cardiovascular system and provide treatment to patients so
as no to make the patient experience severe anxiety and for patients it
was hoped that they will be able to know what ways to do if they
experience anxiety before performing hemodialysis therapy.
