Abstract :
To get one with internet information . One of the company's Internet provider is PT.Telkom with the name Speedy , which is high speed internet service over copper wire telephone network . Distance from the Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer ( DSLAM ) that are central to the modem side effect on the quality of the customer's network . To overcome this PT.Telkom modernize access network that is replacing the old telephone exchange existing network and DSLAM as connecting customers to the Internet is replaced by the Multi -Service Access Network ( MSAN ) . How the results of the calculation parameters influence the quality of Speedy network based on the distance of the DSLAM to the customer's Speedy MSAN technology is influenced by parameters SNR , Line Attenuation , Line Rate , and Output Power . In calculating the relationship between the distance to the Line Rate coefficient values obtained free variable X ( b ) of ( -0.029 ) , which means that each additional one - unit of distance will decrease the value of Line Rate Upstream 0,029 at the time . And the values obtained from the regression calculation of correlation between the distance to the Line Rate ( r) of ( -0.248 ) . Price ( r ) will be relatively small close to zero ( 0 ) so that the influence of the distance to the upstream line rate is relatively small at the moment . Likewise, when the Downstream where the value ( r) of ( -0.086 ) is close to zero ( 0 ) .
