Abstract :
In wireless communication required a device that can send and
receive signals is antenna. There are several types of antennas that used in wireless
communication, one type of antenna used for wireless communication is the
microstrip antenna. In microstrip antenna design is used array type to increase
each microstrip antenna parameter. In addition, the feed technique used inset feeds
between patches with feeder channels for matching. Microstrip antennas are
designed with multiple input multiple output (MIMO) systems using two symmetric
microstrip antennas to speed data transmitting process. MIMO microstrip antenna
is designed at 1842,5 MHz frequency with rectangular patch shape at working
frequency 1805 MHz - 1880 MHz with additional I-Slot. The simulation results
shows that for the return loss is -23,89 dB, VSWR is 1,14 dB, the bandwidth is 85,3
MHz, the impedance is 57,49 + j4,71 Ohm, the gain is 5,011 dB, the radiation
pattern is unidirectional and the correlation coefficient is 0,90994 x 10
. While the
measurement has been shifted the frequency of both antenna 1 and antenna 2.
Antenna 1 measurement with frequency 1817 MHz yield return loss that is -18,48
dB, VSWR is 1,27 dB, bandwidth is 60 MHz, impedance is 46,63 + j8,99 Ohm, ie
5,38 dB, and the radiation pattern is unidirectional. Antenna 2 with frequency 1819
MHz yield return loss that is -19,89 dB, VSWR is 1,22 dB, bandwidth is 59 MHz,
impedance is 47,63 + j6,87 Ohm, gain is 5,39 dB, radiation pattern that is
unidirectional. For the results of the measurement of the correlation coefficient at
a frequency of 1842,5 that is 1,0002292 x 10
