Abstract :
Each service provider has performance standards capacity the network so that
each network working optimally meet the needs of customers. One example is an operator
on X in the Jabodetabek area sets the utilization threshold or limit the maximum
utilization of the capacity of the transmission line. The operator X wants the performance
capacity is good, but from the data obtained earlier utilization shows a spike in traffic on
some of the transmission network. Traffic increase every year due to customer growth
and technology telecommunication network utilization making also become increasing.
When utilization already exceeds the threshold, meaning performance capacity be
decreased, then the need for increased capacity of the transmission network. To increase
the capacity can be done in a way that is implementation of the aggregation method or
Link Aggregation. In this research, conducted an analysis of the implementation of the
aggregation method on a transmission device type iPasolink by using the parameters that
are in the data utilization such as Tx/Rx bandwidth, Tx/Rx octets, Tx/Rx, and radio
configuration so that utilization value obtained. Results after application of aggregation
method in site 3222 Curug shows increase in capacity from 1Gbps be 2Gbps with
utilization percentage from 93.15% to 46.578%. Links 2001 radio Balaraja A171 towards
Kareo Kopo also shows the increase in capacity from 158 Mbps be 316 Mbps with
utilization 99.951% to 49.97%. Radio link 1421 Longish Cipondoh towards 0195
Cipondoh also shows the increase in capacity of 489 Mbps be 991 Mbps with 27.98%
utilization in the radio group 1 and 66.57% on line radio groups 2. The influence of the
application of the method of aggregation no impact against the availabilty but raise the
capacity of the line.
