Abstract :
ABSTRACT LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology is a technology that is currently develop. At the LTE technology, needs are not only limited to voice communication, but also on wireless communication. One of the devices needed on such technology is the antenna. To get a high gain antenna than used an array of tehniques and proximity coupling feed. While the antenna system used is MIMO antenna system. The MIMO antenna system is a system that consists of a number of antenna on the side of the transmitter and the receiver with correlation coefficient below 0,2. To obtain correlation coefficient below 0,2 used the distance between antennas is λ/2. In this paper will be designed and realized microstrip antenna with circular patch for LTE application that work at frequency of 2,3 GHz to 2,4 GHz. With the substrate used is FR4. The Antenna simulation shows the planned working frequency that is between 2,3 GHz – 2,4 GHz with frequency center 2,35 GHz, has VSWR 1,035 and return loss -35,246 dB, gain of 6,365 dB, and coefficient correlation is 0,0028. On the result of the measurement antenna there is a frequency shift into 2,287 GHz – 2,414 GHz with VSWR 1,049 return loss -32,402 dB, bandwidth 127 MHz, gain of 7,32 dB, coefficient correlation is 0,0048. The direction of the radiation pattern of the antenna it is unidirectional and ellipse polarization. From design and analysis, then the antenna can be used as antenna LTE technology.
