Abstract :
LTE is by far the most widely used technology for cellular communication and is still growing. The condition of the building that has a lot of rooms can cause signal attenuation caused by the attenuation contained in each room so wireless network planning needs to be done. At the frequency 3500 MHz is an alternative band candidate for LTE. By using 3500 MHz frequency for indoor design using RPS software based on coverage and using the COST 231 Multiwall propagation model which is simulated in the TT Building Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto. Based on the calculation according to coverage, 1 FAP is needed where the parameters considered are the coverage (RSRP) and SIR. While based on the calculation according to capacity resulted 2 FAP. The placement simulation of the FAP is done by using 2 scenarios. In the first scenario that is based on the calculation of coverage, generates RSRP 76.21 dBm and interference does not occur in SIR. RSRP parameters according to the calculation of the coverage is less than the maximum then carried out the second scenario by installing 2 FAP based on capacity calculations where the RSRP results are better, valued -73.01 dBm and SIR 41.05 dB.
