Abstract :
Technological advances are needed in the world of health, especially in puskesmas where the facilities are inadequate compared to hospitals. One of them is an infusion monitoring tool or infusion monitor. Monitoring of intravenous fluids
in one of the health services, namely Cikakak Health Center, is still done manually, nurses must check or monitor the patient's room one by one directly to find out the
condition of the patient's infusion. In the existing problems, how do you design a device that can monitor the infusion line and how to display the results of monitoring the weight of the IV fluid via Android. In this research, the method used is the prototype method, in which there are 7 stages, including Requirements Collection, Prototype building, Prototype evaluation, programming, testing,
evaluation, and system use. From the tests carried out 10 (ten) times by comparing the load cell sensor with a digital weight meter to see the weight, the difference is 1-3 grams from the comparison. Monitoring of the Cikakak Health Center infusion fluid is still done manually, so monitoring tools can be applied using a load cell sensor to detect the remaining weight of the intravenous fluid to find out the
remaining weight of the fluid when it will run out using NodeMcu ESP8266 and send notifications that are sent only when the intravenous fluid will run out with limits 150 grams where this weight includes the bottle and infusion liquid, and the hose.
