Abstract :
Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology has services for students, namely the academic section that provides lecture information, KRS registration, value information, class schedules etc. At the Academic Institute of Technology Telkom, Purwokerto, the dissemination of information still uses social media Facebook, Instagram, and whatsapp chatbot. However, this method is not yet effective because it requires a long process and time due to delays in delivering information to students. There is a need for a notification information system to make it easier for academics to convey information to students and students can receive information from academics. System development is carried out using the Scrum methodology. Before starting the Scrum stage, a needs gathering process is needed in order to determine the features to be built. The Scrum methodology has a product backlog that is used to collect and evaluate developments that will be carried out in the notification system, the sprint is used to determine the stages of the system development process with the Scrum approach. The process of the Scrum method approach in Android development by applying the sprint system. Each sprint is a work from a backlog that fits the required requirements and is completed in a short time. Sprint makes it easy for developers to discuss the needs that need to be developed in designing the system. The application of the Scrum methodology was very effective in developing this application. The results obtained from the application of the scrum notification information system based on android mobile which makes it easier for academics to disseminate information to students.
