Abstract :
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused restrictions on community activities including the education sector so that all forms of teaching and learning activities are carried out online so that e-learning is widely adopted as an online learning solution. There are various kinds of e-learning methods that are currently used, one of which is Virtual Learning. Virtual Learning uses a combination of face-to-face and virtual meeting elements, one of which is using video conferencing services in the LMS. The researcher uses Jitsi's open-source video conferencing service which is installed on a Moodle-based LMS. Analysis was conducted on QoS and QoE to determine the quality of Jitsi's video conferencing service on a Wi-Fi network. QoS measurements were performed to record traffic on a WiFi network with a bandwidth of 30 Mbps. Parameters tested include throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss. While the QoE measurement is carried out with a subjective parameter, namely MOS (Mean Opinion Score) which is evaluated based on the level of user satisfaction. The highest measurement values obtained in the QoS parameters include: throughput = 2743.86 Kbps, delay = 13.4 ms, jitter = 1.18 ms, and packet loss = 0.22%. Based on the test results, the parameter values can be said to be still at the standard values used by the International Telecommunication Union for Telecommunication (ITU-T). Meanwhile, based on the results of a survey conducted on 10 students of the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology (ITTP) who have used the Jitsi video conference service, the MOS results obtained with an index value of 4 or included in the "good" category so that it can be said that it is feasible to implement the Moodle LMS as a means of virtual learning.
