Abstract :
Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto is a private university located in Purwokerto, Central Java. At the beginning of its establishment in 2002, this university had the name Akatel Purwokerto, then in 2012 it changed to ST3 Telkom Purwokerto, and in 2017 it changed again to Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto. The facilities provided by the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology to students are quite complete. One of the facilities provided by the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology is to provide loans for tools and goods owned by the campus to support student activities within the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology. However, data collection for borrowing goods at the Telkom Purwokerto Institute of Technology is still done manually, the process is still by way of the borrower going to the relevant room and filling out the loan form. To solve this problem, the author makes a front-end view of the goods lending system. In this case, the author applies the User Centered Design (UCD) method to the design and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to evaluate the user experience. The results of the application of the UCD method in completing the loan system design which consists of 4 stages, namely specify context of use, specify user requirements, design solution, and evaluation. From this stage it produces several features such as an attractive dashboard display, borrowing and returning dates, fonts that are not too small. The results on the UEQ test For the borrower user himself, on the "Attractiveness" scale it gets a value of 1.76, then on the "Perspucuity" scale it gets a value of 2.06, on the "Efficiency" scale it gets a value of 1.83, then on the "Dependability" scale it gets a value of 1.71, then on the "Stimulation" scale a value of 1.71, and the "Novelty" scale a score of 1.11, it can be seen that all borrower UEQ values are above 0.8, so it can be concluded that the front-end display being evaluated have a positive evaluation value.
