Abstract :
ABSTRACT There are some factor operational vessel activity in Tanjung Emas Port of Semarang which is influence operational vessel activity like completeness document requirement and service users understanding about inaportnet system which is used for application support of fluency operational vessel activity and also for availability dock facilities. But in the fact, there is still founded that the document requirement is not complete for operational and the other problem in the Dock Samudera still found puddle of sea water because of sea tide. The purpose of this researchers were able to know there are affecting the operating vessels in Tanjung Emas Port of Semarang, to know the impact and to improve the operating vessel in Tanjung Emas Port of Semarang. Reseacrh method which used is descriptive qualitative. Data compilation method is using with observation, interview, documentation of study, literature review,technical data is using whith data reduction and data pesentation and also The results showed that the owner did not understand the process before docking and also the conclusion. The research can be see that factors affect the operating vessels in Tanjung Emas Port of Semarang is agency document, the avaibility of facilities at port, and also understanding inaportnet system by port users. The impact is increase costs distruption of the vessel, vessel line up, and also shipping agent hence. The effort made to improve it is increase coordination between principle and agent, revitilitation of dock, and socialization regarding the implementation of inaportnet system to port facilities user.
