Abstract :
This study aims to determine the application of the Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) concept in supplier selection at Amnaya Resort Kuta and describe the obstacles in its application. In this study, data collection techniques were carried out by observation, literature study, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. Interviews were conducted with two informants, namely the Assistant Purchasing Manager and Receiving Clerk purposively. Questionnaires were distributed to twenty-three respondents, namely staff at Amnaya Resort Kuta. Data analysis techniques applied are descriptive qualitative and descriptive statistics. The results that can be concluded from this study are the application of GSCM in increasing environmental awareness at Amnaya Resort Kura includes four criteria, namely eco-design, green manufacturing, green purchasing, and environmental awareness. The obstacles in implementing green supply chain management in increasing environmental awareness are market demand and market ability for environmentally friendly products that are still low, minimal education about environmentally friendly activities, limited environmentally friendly suppliers which cause low environmental friendly products, and considerations in purchasing for the use of environmentally friendly materials that tend to decompose easily.
