Abstract :
Along with the development of construction industry in Indonesia, pollution and environment damage as result of construction activity, also increased. Therefore, green building concept was found in order to decrease number of negative environment impacts and pollution caused by construction activity. Although, green building concept has been known in Indonesia since 2009, but in 2015-2017, there were only 30% of high rise buildings and 5% of residences which are green buildings. It means that Indonesia’s developer still has low awareness and interest in implicating the green building concept. Therefore, this paper attempted to indicate developer preference and interest of each green building parameter. This study is using qualitative method which conducted by interviewing developers who have Greenship certified green building located in Jabodetabek. Interview design used in this study is the result of literature studies and validation of experts in green building. Through using descriptive method, this paper found there are 3 green building parameters which become developer preference. Those are water conservation, green area, and energy saving technology. Those parameters was considered as the most beneficial parameter.
