ABSTRACT
Background: : Diabetes Mellitus is a non-communicable metabolic disorder that affects several million people worldwide. Management of type 2 DM can be done one way is with physical exercise. Physical exercise that n be done is to do leg exercises. Purpose: This study was to determine the effect of foot exercise on changes in blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 DM. Method: The method is carried out by doing Foot Exercise in Type 2 DM patients Conclusion: Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been described, in this study the following conclusions can be drawn: An overview of blood sugar levels in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients before the Diabetes Mellitus foot exercise was performed, the results showed that the average blood sugar level was 218.11 mg/dL. An overview of blood sugar levels in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus sufferers after the Diabetes Mellitus foot exercises obtained the results of an average blood sugar level of 202.83 mg/dL. There is an effect of Diabetes Mellitus foot exercise on changes in blood sugar levels in type 2 Diabetes Mellitus sufferers Suggestion : It is recommended to do diabetic foot exercises regularly and planned, namely 2-3 times a week for 15 minutes to prevent complications in people with Diabetes Mellitus
