Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) on distribution within the supply chain network of PT Linfox. This research is motivated by the development of information and
communication technology (ICT) that simplifies business processes and encourages companies to adopt information systems such as ERP. The research question formulated is: What are the benefits of ERP for a company's distribution within the supply chain network? The theories used include supply chain management and distribution, focusing on operational efficiency, integration, and transparency. The research was conducted qualitatively, with data collected through observations, interviews, and a literature review on ERP implementation at PT Linfox. The results indicate that the implementation of ERP at PT Linfox reduces costs, increases
transparency, and enhances control over the distribution process. However, there are some challenges related to system complexity and the need for accurate data. Data entry errors and inaccurate information can disrupt the company's distribution flow. The conclusion of this study is that ERP plays a crucial role in improving distribution performance within PT Linfox's supply chain network, although efforts are needed to overcome existing limitations.
