Abstract :
This research is based on a decrease in work productivity which can be seen from the work shift and workload factors, production output from the moring shift, day shift and night shift is different from the target set by the company. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the influence of work shifts and workload on work productivity. In this research 60 respondents were measured with the method used being quantitative with a descriptive approach to determine the effect of work shifts and workload on work productivity in the Epson series production section in the Machining Division of PT Padma Soode Indonesia. The data processing technique uses the SPSS version 27 application. Based on the results of multiple linier regression analysis, it form a moden Y = 6,143 + 0,066 (X1) + 0,201 (X2) as well as the result of the partial test of the work shift variable which influences productivity with a significance value of 0,009 and the partial test of the workload variable has an effect on productivity with a significance value of 0,000. Simultaneous test also ahow that work productivity has a significant influence on work shift and workload an the result of the coefficient of determination (R2) test are 0,5630 or 56,30%. This shows that work productivity can be influence by 56,30% by the independent variables, namely work shifts and workload, meanwhile 43,70% of productivity is influenced by other variables outside the research model used in this research.
