Abstract :
descriptive text (2) to analyze single picture media with bungnam technique in improving the students’ writing skill in descriptive text. The research is Class Action Research. The researcher uses 2 cycles in this research. The subject of this research was class VII A SMP Negeri 2 Nganjuk in Academic Year of 2019/2020. The number of student in class VII A is 32 students. The collecting data used to observe the processing of bungnam technique through single picture: observing the activities of students, teachers and the final learning or formative test. The technique of analysis data used to analyze the data in this research is mean and then converted based on KKM or criteria success. Based on the result, the students’ average in writing descriptive text before getting treatment is 69,9. After getting treatment, the students’ score in writing descriptive text is increased from 76 in cycle I to 82 cycle II. Students’ responses to the questionnaire showed that students' interest in learning to write descriptive text is 76,5 % in cycle I to 84,3 % in cycle II. It implies that bungnam technique through single picture can improve the students’ writing skill in descriptive text at the seventh grade student SMP Negeri 2 Nganjuk in academic year of 2019/2020.
