ABSTRAK Roviana. Hubungan Modal Sosial dan Adversity Quotient (AQ) dengan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis Siswa Kelas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Pacitan Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Skripsi. Pacitan: STKIP PGRI Pacitan, 2020. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) hubungan modal sosial dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa, (2) hubungan adversity quotient dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa, (3) hubungan modal sosial dan adversity quotient dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Pacitan tahun pelajaran 2019/2020, sebanyak 221 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 1 kelas. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket modal sosial, angket adversity quotient dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis pada materi kubus dan balok. Uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis korelasi sederhana dan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa: (1) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara modal sosial dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Pacitan, 2) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara adversity quotient dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Pacitan, 3) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara modal sosial dan adversity quotient dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Pacitan. The objectives of this study were to determine: (1) the correlation between social capital and students critical thinking abilities of mathematics (2) the correlation between adversity quotient towards students critical thinking skills, (3) the correlation between social capital and adversity quotient toward critical thinking abilities of mathematics. This type of the research is correlation research. The population in this study was VIII grade students of MTs Negeri 1 Pacitan 2019/2020, the numbers were 221 students. The sample used 1 class. The instrument used in this study were social capital questionnaires, adversity quotient questionnaires and tests of mathematics critical thinking abilities on cube and blocks. Hypothesis testing used simple correlation analysis and multiple linear regression with SPSS 16.0 for windows. The results of the data analysis concluded that: (1) there was no significant correlation between social capital towards students? critical thingking of mathematics ability in class VIII at MTs Negeri 1 Pacitan, 2) there was no significant correlation between adversity quotient towards students? critical thingking of mathematics ability in class VIII at MTs Negeri 1 Pacitan, 3) there is no significant correlation between social capital and adversity quotient toward students? critical thingking of mathematics ability in class VIII of MTs Negeri 1 Pacitan.
