Abstract :
The research in this thesis entitled "Transformation of the Greeting Temor Dance in the Kiprah Glipang Probolinggo Dance" aims to determine the transformative changes in the Kiprah Glipang Dance to the Greeting Temor Dance. For this reason, the researcher analyzed the Glipang Gap Dance and the Temor Greeting Dance using the Transformation theory according to Bandem. This study also uses a qualitative approach, namely describing data in the form of words using interviews, interviews, and documentation. This study discusses the problem regarding the change/transformation that occurs in the Kiprah Glipang Dance to the Greeting Temor Dance. From the results of the analysis it can be seen that the Salaat Temor Dance has a series of movements and music of the Kiprah Glipang Dance, but the series of movements and music of the Kiprah Glipang Dance have changes. This change meets the Transformation standards suggested by Bandem, namely there are elements of Transformation including changes in shape, changes in character, changes in appearance, and changes in situation.
