Abstract :
The text of The Cross by Eugine O'Neill attacks society with western culture, namely the instantaneousness of getting what you want. A cultural shift causes people to become crazy about things they like. The captain character in the script "Silang Silang" who is crazy about waiting for the Marlini ship which is carrying gold makes his son, Darpo character, who also hopes and waits, finally gets impatient and goes crazy because he wants to control the treasures contained in the Marlini ship but the ship he is waiting for is not there. there really is. The Cross Mark is really happening in our society with a cultural shift from process to end result. This creation aims to create a visual form of house space that resembles a Vinici ship using Adolphe Appia's theory which is suitable to be combined with the shape of a ship which is terraced and has level. The visual approach is the KRI Dewa Ruci Ship which has the philosophical meaning of "Search for the Water of Life" which means Same goes on a treasure hunt in the Manuscript "The Sign of the Cross" by Eugine O'Neill. The concept offered is to increase Spectacle Settings in order to expand updates in the Artistic world
