Abstract :
Lava Bantal is one tourist attraction that has a unique attraction in Sleman. In 2018, there was an increase in the number of tourist visits after being named the most popular new tourist attraction in the Anugrah Pesona Indonesia (API) held by The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. However, in subsequent years the number of tourist visits has always decreased. This study aims to find out how the travel motivation from pull and push factors, through dimenstions and indicators in travel motivation. The method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The analysis tool used a likert scale for a total of 202 respondests that the researcher got. The results explained that overall, tourist who visited Lava Bantal agreed with the indicators in push and pull factors. if viewed in more detail, for the sub variables of push factors, ?relaxation? is the highest index indicator, while ?enhancing relation with surrounding community? is the lowest inex indicator. Meanwhile, in sub variable from pull factors, the indicator ?affordable entry prices? is the highest index number and the ?events and activities at the destination? is the indicator with the lowest index.
