Abstract :
Macroeconomics is an economic science that studies economic changes, in which
there are factors of economic growth, some of the factors are in the form of
inflation, exchange rates, unemployment rates, etc. These factors can influence the
behavior patterns of the market and society companies. For example, is a business
travel agency company. ESQ Tours Travel is the brand name of PT. Fajrul Ikhsan
Wisata, this company is a travel agency engaged in halal and spiritual tourism.
ESQ Tours Travel serves Special Hajj trips as its main product after the emergence
of the Covid-19 pandemic, where special Hajj products use US Dollars in their
transactions. The author uses the multiple linear regression method to determine
the effect of macroeconomic variables in the form of inflation and the Rupiah
exchange rate against the US Dollar on the interest of Special Hajj registrants at
ESQ Tours Travel along with the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic
phenomenon and product transactions using US Dollars in the form of The data
used is in this studies is time-series data. In the results of the study, it was found
that there was a simultaneous influence between the inflation variable and the
exchange rate of the Rupiah against the US Dollar of 19.7% on the interest in
Special Hajj registration at ESQ Tours Travel.
