Abstract :
Cihikeu Village is one of the villages in Bungbulang District, Garut Regency, with a diverse tourism potential. Cihikeu Village has also been appointed as one of the pioneering tourism villages by the Regent of Garut Regency. One of the potentials that is widely known by the wider community is the natural tourist attraction of Leuwi Jurig and Leuwi Jubleg, but there is no development and management related to the tourism potential of Cihikeu Village. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, while the data collection technique uses primary and secondary data by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. Besides that, this study also uses data analysis, including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study, using the identification of potential through rural tourism products, are not yet fully available in Cihikeu Tourism Village. In addition, the development of rural tourism potential has not been carried out, so there is a need for action from the community and local government towards the management and development of rural tourism potential in Cihikeu Tourism Village.
