Abstract :
The hotel industry today is not only a provider of accommodation services
but over time, people want a different experience in celebrating an important
moment, such as a wedding. For most people, marriage is not just the union of two
different people to be able to live together, more than that a wedding reception or
party can also improve one's social status and create views for other people who
attend the wedding. To meet the interests and needs of the community or those who
are getting married, the hotel industry is now providing MICE packages and social
events. A hotel in promoting the event certainly has a strategy. The elements of the
promotional mix according to Kotler (2005: 264-312), which consist of five main
tools, namely: Advertising, Sales Promotion, Public Relations and Publicity (public
relations), personal selling, and direct marketing.The result of this research is the
identification of promotions that have been carried out by Lembang Asri Hotel and
Resort and what should be improved and done to increase the sales of wedding
packages at Lembang Asri Hotel and Resort.Then this research will also produce
suggestions and recommendations to be considered by Lembang Asri Hotel and
Resort as a strategy to promote its wedding packages.
