Abstract :
The pandemic COVID-19, which took place in many countries, including Indonesia,
made the hospitality industry plummet. Many businessmen and hotel networks close
their businesses for a while. Nevertheless, some hotels continue to operate even if
guests are not as much as usual. While the development of business in the field of
hospitality is declining, each of the hoteliers still crave success in the business that
was built. The success does not escape the creation of good human resources. One
of the keys in creating a human resources professional located in the transfer
employee process, a transfer is as part of a development strategy. Mistakes in
placement of employees in inappropriate work will get poor results. Imprecision,
in this case, can result in a lack of working spirit that results in performance, high
turnover, and employee attendance. Thus, the research is aimed at reviewing the
conformity of the implementation of the job transfer based on three basic principles
of transfer: merit system, seniority system, and spoil system. This research uses
case study methods, so this research involves directly between researchers and
speakers so as to facilitate the researchers in obtaining and processing valid and
accurate data or information. This research is expected to be used as a
recommendation for parties related to the job transfer of good employees and can
provide good results for employees and companies.
