Abstract :
Nature-based tourism is one of the activities oriented towards nature and the
use of natural resources while still paying attention to its sustainability. There are
various types of nature-based tourism, one of which is Forest Healing. Forest Healing
is an activity carried out in the forest to improve the mental and physical health of
humans by utilizing existing natural resources. In Forest Healing activities, there are
two activities in it, namely Forest Bathing and Nature Therapy.
This study aims to develop Forest Healing activities and facilities in the
Ecotourism Research Forest Science and Technology (HPEI) Cikole, West Bandung
Regency using a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques used were
field observations, interviews, and the use of secondary data such as books, journals,
and related documents. The data obtained will be analyzed by reducing data, presenting
data, and drawing conclusions and verification.
This research will produce a directive document for the development of Forest
Healing activities and facilities at HPEI Cikole which can be used as a reference for
HPEI Cikole managers in developing activities and facilities at HPEI Cikole.
