Abstract :
Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) is the only radio owned by the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). Radio certainly plays an important role in conveying information to the listening community. The use of e-mail to send news at this time is still ineffective, because it must first accuse the delivery of news from reporters. The process is also very ineffective in terms of time, because it will increase the time of sending news, so the news delivery system that runs it really needs to be improved. In addition, the management of news data that is broadcast for later use as a report is still done conventionally / manually, which is recorded in a book, it is certainly increasingly ineffective and inefficient. This research proposes a news management information system in the form of a system developed as an effective news management solution with the system design method used is the Prototype method with a design model using Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams.
