Abstract :
This study aims to determine the relationship between BMI and agility
on the dribbling skills of soccer extracurricular participants at SMA
Muhammadiyah Gisting. This research is a correlational research,
namely research that aims to determine whether there is a relationship
between variables. The sampling technique used was the saturated
sampling technique, the number of samples in this study amounted to 24
athletes who took part in football extracurricular activities at SMA
Muhammadiyah Gisting. The analytical method used in this study is the
product moment correlation method, before conducting the product
moment correlation analysis, the data must first be tested for normality,
homogeneity test. With the research instrument BMI, Agility and
dribbling skills. From the results of the study, it was concluded that BMI
had a significant relationship of 23.5% on dribbling skills. Then agility
has a significant relationship of 22.2% to dribbling skills, and BMI and
agility have a significant relationship of 29.3% to dribbling skills.
