Abstract :
Literary work is one of the people?s written works which are usually used to express ideas and creations beautifully. This work is usually created by using imaginative language in the form of fiction work. This research aims to delineate criminals in London seen in Robert Galbraith?s Lethal White (2018) novel as a kind of literary work. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods to analyze and describe the criminals which are in the novel. Data are taken from the novel written by Robert Galbraith known as J. K. Rowling which was published in 2018. The forms of the data are expressions, narrations, and sentences that implied the criminal acts happened in London from the author?s perspective. The findings show that the criminal acts happened in London as described based on the author?s perspectives are in form of murder case, blackmailing, terrorist, corruption, political issues, drugs, kidnapping, and traffic collision that may lead to the people?s death. Those crimes were described by the author implicitly based on her personal point of view about London that surely related to the real situation of London as well. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the author?s personal perspective about criminal acts in London is totally related to her personal experience which were narrated in the novel. After conducting research about the author?s perspective on crime by using sociological approach in the Lethal White novel, it is suggested to the next researcher to conduct different aspects of literary works in this novel
