Abstract :
Panipahan Village is one of the 8 villages in Pasir Limau sub-district which consists of fishermen residents and is a producer of fish production specifically for traditional fishing businesses. This study studies the factors that influence the amount of fishermen's fish catch in Panipahan Village, Pasir Limau Kapas District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The method used in this study is a survey method. This research was conducted in Panipahan Village, Pasir Limau Kapas Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency, the location selection was done deliberately (deliberately) with the consideration that most of the residents earn a living as fishermen, on the other hand, which can be seen from the household situation, fishing technology and others so. This research was conducted for 6 months, starting from October 2018 - March 2019. Hasl This research refers to the characteristics of traditional fishermen on average increased 41.3 years, education of fishermen on average for 7.5 years, research on average fishermen during 19.5 years and the average number of family dependents is 3 people. The average production cost is Rp 9,476,444 / month, the average production is 268 kg / month, the average gross income is Rp 13,834,650 / month and the average net income is Rp 4,358,206 / month. Factors that significantly affect the number of traditional fishermen catches in Panipahan Village, Pasir Limau Kapas Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency are fuel, sea consumption, labor, ice, machine capacity, fishing time, and education are important at the 5% level and value Rsquared 57.3% while the remaining 42.7% independent variables are outside this research model.
