Abstract :
Development Communication in Village Reservoir Infrastructure At Pongkai Istiqomah XIII Koto Kampar Sub-District Naufal Mifdhal 169110159 This research motivated by the many aspiration from rural community about clean water and sanitation compliance of basic needs. Reservoir infrastructure development itself become a development planned by the government and rural community on the discussion. This research focuses development communication on reservoir infrastructure development at Pongkai Istiqomah XIII Koto Kampar Sub-District. Development communication includes the role and function of communication between all partisipants,especially rural communities and government since planning, implementation and evaluation procces. The aim from this research to find out how development communication in the of reservoir infrastructure at Pongkai Istiqomah XIII Koto Kampar Sub-District. In this research, researcher used qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach that mean to describe and explain reservoir infrastructure at Pongkai Istiqomah, and using Miles and Huberman analytical tehcniques. This research assign 3 speakers, that is headman, BPD Chairs, and 1 rural community and as a member of RKPDes 2019. The result show, Pongkai Istiqomah government using partisipasory strategies and media based strategies in conveying development message. The government Pongkai Istiqomah has become a pretty good communicator in delivering development messages so rural communities get impact of development useful.
